Biography & Background

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I provide psychotherapy to children, individuals, couples and families using Evidence Based Practices to help alleviate suffering and assist people to have more fulfilled relationships.

I began my career in Boston in 1995 directing a group home for developmentally delayed adults with co-ocurring mental illness. During that time I also worked at New England Medical Center where I gained knowledge of psychopharmacology while seeing patients and rounding with the psychiatric team in the hospital.

Returning to the West Coast in 1997, I designed, developed and directed a Rehabilitation Program for adults with persistent Mental Illness. The program's success led me to open three other clinics in the Los Angeles area. Simultaneously, I provided group therapy to inmates serving the last months of a prison sentence.

These experiences coupled with continued training created an expertise in treating Trauma, Anxiety, Depression and Addictions. In recent years, I have brought these skills into a private setting. My work is informed by a decade long study with Daniel Siegel, MD. I blend compassion and intuition with clinical experience and neuroscience. I quickly build a therapeutic relationship, develop a collaborative treatment plan and assist those I serve to meet their goals.
